Ernies Sports Deli - Orem

Ernie's is a small deli on center street in Orem, and has a traveling food truck. It has well reviewed sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch- their breakfast sandwiches are especially loved in the other reviews. Unfortunately, I haven't taken the opportunity to try their breakfast sandwiches yet since I had Ernie's for lunch. I didn't have the full food truck experience since the food was brought to my work office building by one of my coworkers but the sandwich was still warm all the way through, like a well cooked steak or like a hot pocket should be. I got the full nelson, which is a pastrami sandwich. This sandwich is so large it could give you a full nelson on the playground. The full 12 inch sandwich is $10, which is a little pricey if you're a frugal eater like me, but you can get a half sandwich for $6.

The meats in my sandwich were very tasty, they tasted like I image authentic New Jersey pastrami to be. They are jam packed with flavor and spice. The mixture of mayo, mustard, oil, and toppings work together like the Golden State Warriors (not my favorite team). Eating this sandwich with all its warmth and spice and chemistry is like a happy memory on a sunny day.

This sandwich filled me up. I could only finish half of my sandwich, which is kind of rare for me. I ate the other half of my sandwich the next day, and although I ate it cold, it could still stand alone and rank high on this list by itself.

This food truck is currently my highest ranked sandwich place.
