Caputo's was a terrific surprise for me. I started working at a new office next door and saw them on my way to work each day. In my first 2 weeks I went twice. Caputo's is a more than just sandwiches, and has the whole experience of a European shop and a fine meat and cheese deli as well full of fun things like exotic chocolates, oils, truffles, and more. Its fun to look around while waiting for your food.
The sanwiches themselves are top tier. The meat and cheese are extremely high quality like you would expect from a deli like this. The bread is also fresh and high quality. They also use an unexpectedly good mix of veggies, peppers, sauces, oils and more. They really are the whole package. The only negative I have is that my sandwich was so tall that I hurt the roof of my mouth taking big bites.
Caputos may have edged its way into the top of my rankings, they definitely earned a 10.
